Lisa Rands takes us on a search for highball California Granite, form Black Mountain to Donner Summit; a fingertip-ripping 25-minute tour of some of the best bouldering in the Golden State.

Inspiring a revolution in women's bouldering. RAnds stepped up to tall hard problems without ropes, pushes, or any other aid to help work the moves. In this video, we see her take that 'ground up' philosophy on the road, making ascents of the stunning "Thriller," in Yosemite Valley, and "Plain High Drifter" (V11) at the buttermilks (the first V11 by an American woman). She also fights back her fear to tackle the finest patina in the Bishop area on "The Checkerboard," plus the terrifying highball "Sword of Damocles" at Horse Flats.

Lisa's 100% effort is clearly evident in the grimace on her face and the torn tape on her fingers. Between double-screamer fliers and close-up wide-angle action, Rands talks about her motivation, her excitement for climbing, and about the day she wrote down her "hit list" of all those great lines she was so determined to climb.
