| Sterling offers a full line of accessory cords. These cords are for general utility purposes only, and not for use in lead climbing. The smaller diameter cords (2.75-6mm) are very versatile as tent guylines, shoelaces, pack lashing and other non-life safety applications. Larger cords (7mm-9mm) are ideal for prusik cords, cordelettes, lightweight fixing and hauling "tag" lines. Typical accessory cords have no twist in the sheath, which makes the cords stiff, difficult to use, and less durable. SterlingÕs accessory cord is different.
