ABC Avalanche Probe - 104"

This versatile probe is made of six flexible and impact resistant aluminum tubes which are easily assembled. The quick mounting system uses a steel cable connected to the tip, and on the other end to the quick release button on the tension rod. By pulling the tensioning rod, the tubes will fall into their couplings forming a 8.6 foot (104") probe. The newly developed steel tip has a larger bore channel for easier retraction of the probe. Each section of the probe alternates colors and printed inch markings for exact depth measurement. It weighs only 9 oz (without bag) and comes packaged in a nylon carrying bag. Breaks down to 6, 17" sections.
