Monster Ropes is a fresh line of dynamic climbing ropes designed specifically for today's modern rock climber. Monster Ropes achieve a very high level of durability and one of the big reasons is a high twist level in the sheath yarns. This twist level creates a high fiber density which gives Monster Ropes a very durable and long-wearing outer shell (sheath). This tightly wound, high-fiber sheath protects both sheath and core strands which results in superior durability and handling.

Testing / Certification - To be able to guarantee you the highest level of safety, each and every Monster Rope meets or exceeds the requirements and standards set by the following bodies: fulfills all U.I.A.A. requirements, meets the CE standards and the EC directives, guaranteed by the CE mark found on every Monster Climbing Rope. In addition, Monster Ropes are certified to ISO 9001, a confirmation of our company's faultless quality assurance program.

Monster Marker verification

When you pull your new rope out of its bag, please flake it out. Starting with both ends in one hand, pull the rope through your other hand to verify that the 30m end marks are at the same position. Continue until you reach the rope’s midpoint where you will find the middle mark. This will verify that all the markers are in the correct positions. If you find that any of the markers are not in the correct position, please return the rope free of charge and Metolius will replace it. Heavy abrasion or sharp rock edges can remove the marker threads. With normal usage, they will outlast traditional markers and may last the entire life of your rope.
