01/12/02 Wildcat is fallen - how great the fall! Warm weather this week took its toll and Wildcat is no more. Other canyons are thin.
Park is obviously not open. 02/06/02 News is not much better... Some ice is forming but it looks like warmer weather for the next 7 days. Park is still closed. The status of ice climbing at Starved Rock may change a little this year. There was talk this summer about opening another canyon to climbing. We will post more info when it becomes available. |
