The Details:
The Rescucender is a compact rope clamp / grab. The user connects directly to the grooved cam, which can slip if overloaded and thus act as a load limiter. The device will slide up the rope unaided, while a simple action will allow it to be moved down the rope. It is attached to the rope by two consecutive actions. This operation is slow but offers greater safety.
The Rescucender is particularly suitable for lifting heavy loads. As part of a hauling system it operates as an anti-return device.
