The Details:
Rope jamming device which replaces a self-jamming knot such as a Prusik knot.
Advantages: gives you an additional safety system when descending by backing up the descender. Pull it down the rope to descend, when released it will jam. The SHUNT can also be used for ascending. It may be used on single rope (10-11 mm) or double rope (8-11 mm).
Advice: be careful not to use the SHUNT on overhangs: risk of becoming detached (see instructions).
