The introduction of Dyneema tape represents the most significant breakthrough in software technology in recent years. DMM has introduced 12mm Dyneema slings for even greater savings in the weight and bulk of your rack. There's nothing to match it for threading through tiny holes! Despite weighing less than half the weight of 25mm nylon, these slings still have a reassuringly high strength of 22kN.
Dyneema is approximately 800% more abrasion resistant than nylon webbing. All of these benefits contribute towards substantially improved safety limits and less bulk on your rack. As it is not possible to dye Dyneema, coloured nylon is woven in diagonally, producing an aesthetic striped webbing, that is easily identifiable.
