The Details:
The Spectre 2 is bigger than the Phantom; the Phantoms size/weight ratio still probably has the edge as DMM's best trad climbing carabiner, but the Spectre 2 is a touch more versatile - it has more metal to cope with bolt damage and will be slightly easier to handle and clip in adverse conditions. The Spectre 2 is full size and large enough to be used with gloves for winter climbing.
